Biography

Prior to founding the Wedl Law Firm, Amanda Wedl was an associate with Marquis, Aurbach & Coffing of Las Vegas, where her practice centered solely on estate planning and asset protection. She later joined Wells Fargo Private Bank as a Trust Officer where she administered Trusts for high net worth clients.

While with the Private Bank, Amanda earned her Certified Financial Planning certification. With her commitment to a wealth management approach, Amanda became a Wealth Management Advisor with the Private Bank where she advised high net worth clients in estate planning, tax planning, and asset allocation. She was responsible for supervising a team of professionals including Trust Officers, Investment Managers, Private Bankers, attorneys and accountants to ensure a client’s unique goals were acknowledged and met. Amanda was also responsible for growing the high net worth business while training professionals within the Private Bank on the wealth management process.

Amanda is a frequent speaker on estate planning topics, and her speaking engagements have taken her to California, New Mexico and the Las Vegas Valley.

Education and Licenses

Amanda earned her undergraduate degree from University Wisconsin – Eau Claire, where she graduated summa cum laude. She received her Juris Doctorate from Marquette University Law School, where she graduated cum laude. Amanda completed the accelerated Certified Financial Planning program offered through the University of Las Vegas, Nevada and subsequently
passed the examination to earn her certification as a Certified Financial Planner.

She is a member of the State Bar of Nevada, the American Bar Association, and the Southern Nevada Estate Planning Council.
